Michelle Nguyen

Michelle Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience in various design and creative roles. Starting in 2019, they worked as a Personal Assistant for Simin Ganatra and as a Graphic Designer for The Gilbert Gallery. In 2021, they gained experience as a Creative Coordinator at kanti, where they collaborated with marketing and social media teams to create newsletters, infographics, and social media content. Michelle then worked as a Design Associate at Cocktail Courier, where they collaborated with the art director and corporate account managers to improve branding and social media strategy. At Party Can, Michelle worked as a Design Associate, collaborating closely with the art director, social media manager, and marketing director to execute designs for brand email newsletters and assets.

In 2022, Michelle started working as a Junior Content Designer at PillowtalkDerm by Dr. Shereene Idriss, where they created custom templates, infographics, gifs, and designed icons for product packaging and the website. Michelle also worked in a Creative Services Intern role at Busey, collaborating with the in-house design team to create various designs such as brand collateral, advertisements, and animations for digital and print mediums. Michelle also reimagined and redesigned the internal corporate brand guide used across the creative, communications, and marketing team.

Additionally, Michelle worked as a Designer and Social Media Strategist for Climify Podcast, where they strategized the rethinking of Climify's Instagram presence and marketing, as well as rebranding the visual design. Throughout their roles, Michelle has demonstrated their ability to collaborate with others, utilize task management systems, and contribute to the improvement of branding and marketing strategies.

Michelle Nguyen began their education at Parkland College from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued a General Studies associate's degree. Michelle then furthered their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with High Honors in Graphic Design from 2017 to 2022.
