Caitlin A. Carroll has a diverse work experience in various roles. Caitlin A. began their career as an intern at Thirteen/WNET, where they worked for three months. Later, they served as an editorial intern at Washingtonian Magazine for three months as well. Caitlin then moved on to The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where they worked as a writer/editor for one year. Caitlin A. then joined George Washington University as an associate editor and later became a managing editor, working there for a total of three years and seven months. Following this, Caitlin worked at The Nature Conservancy as a managing editor for two years and eight months, managing editorial operations and producing stories on conservation work. In 2016, they joined Truth Initiative as a content manager and was later promoted to content director, a role they currently hold. Additionally, in 2019, Caitlin became a co-founder of Painted City Films.
Caitlin A. Carroll has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The George Washington University. Caitlin A. also holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained a Graduate Certificate in Documentary Filmmaking from The George Washington University. In January 2019, Caitlin obtained a certification in Content Strategy for Professionals Specialization from Coursera.
