Matt Kirmayer

Matt Kirmayer is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in venture capital and emerging companies. Currently serving as a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP since February 2023, Matt previously held partner positions at Perkins Coie LLP, Lowenstein Sandler LLP, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, and Reed Smith LLP, focusing on venture capital and emerging growth sectors. Matt's career began at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, where significant expertise was developed in spinout transactions for New York money-center banks. Academically, Matt holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Securities Law from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Rutgers Law School, and a BA in Rhetoric and Communication from the University at Albany.
