Sean Patrick Whelan

As Pillsbury’s Chief Operating Officer, Sean Whelan is responsible for aligning operations with strategy and for driving operational efficiency and innovation.

With over 25 years of experience in management and consulting for professional services firms, Sean oversees the firm’s finance, technology, operations and project management functions. As a member of the firm’s executive team, he supports the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plan. Previously, he was the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer for the Nashville Office. He led the team that established Pillsbury’s world-class operations center in Nashville, TN by consolidating core functions from around the country. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
