Zaheer D. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Zaheer is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Pilot Energy since December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Managing Director at PierCap Partners from 2016 to 2021. Before that, they held a senior leadership role at Direct Energy from 2006 to 2016, where they led teams across various functional areas. Zaheer also worked at Denali Partners, LLC as an Investment Researcher in 2005 and at Evergy as a Products and Pricing professional from 2001 to 2005.
Zaheer D. has completed Executive Education in Digital Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Zaheer also holds an MBA/MA degree in Corporate Finance and Financial Economics from Ohio University. Additionally, Zaheer has obtained certifications in Post-Crisis Leadership from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business and is a certified Personal Leadership Coach through The Living Leader. Zaheer holds the Series 79 and 63 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
