Brent Hickman

Brent Hickman currently serves as the lead pastor at French Broad Valley Baptist Church, focusing on evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach since June 2024. In addition to pastoral responsibilities, Brent has extensive experience in the corporate sector, having worked at Pilot Flying J since September 2010 as the Senior Manager of Equipment, Maintenance, and Fleet Sales, overseeing operations for a large fleet of trucks and trailers. Previous roles include Fleet Maintenance Supervisor at Stewart-Haas Racing, CNC Machinist and Rear Suspension Specialist at Victory 1 Performance, and Clutch and Bottom End Engine Specialist at Mark Thomas Racing. Brent holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Tusculum University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the same institution, along with an MBA in Business Administration from Walters State Community College and a specialized degree in Machining Technology from Central Piedmont Community College.
