Robert McKenna

Robert McKenna is a Senior PIC Design Engineer at Pilot Photonics since August 2022. Prior to this role, Robert worked as a PHD Candidate at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on the athermalization of singlemode semiconductor lasers. Before that, Robert also held positions at Abbott as a Diagnostic Technologist and at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Robert's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Statistics and a degree in Nanoscience focusing on Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials.
