Catherine E. B. Scoggins

Catherine E. B. Scoggins is a dedicated educator and experienced manager with a diverse background in teaching and residential life administration. Currently serving as a Teacher at Pilot Point Independent School District since April 2022, Catherine teaches 6th grade science and resource math, while also having experience in 8th grade reading. Prior experience as a Long Term Substitute Teacher includes roles in various subjects and grades. Catherine's managerial skills were further developed as Co-Owner of Thompson Fence Co., where daily operations and financial management were key responsibilities. A significant tenure at the University of Texas at Dallas involved leadership roles such as Director of Residential Life, overseeing a staff of over 150 and managing a multi-million dollar budget, while enhancing student experiences and compliance with institutional policies. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ball State University.
