Leah Friedenberg, MBA, CUDE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking and hospitality industries. Leah is currently serving as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Organizational Development at Pima Federal Credit Union since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for developing and updating the credit union's strategy, business model, and enhancing its products and services. Leah also collaborates with executive management and the board of directors to ensure effective delivery processes.
Prior to their current position, Leah held the role of SVP of Operations at Pima Federal Credit Union from March 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they directed the overall banking operations, overseeing three teams and a staff of 17. Leah was responsible for various aspects of the financial institution, including technology, network security, projects, payments, core system, legal processing, and loan servicing.
Leah also has a significant tenure at Pima Federal Credit Union, where they held multiple roles from 2001 to 2020. Leah served as the VP of Operations & Digital Banking, where they administered various digital banking projects and spearheaded internal process improvement initiatives. Leah also served as the Director of Payment Services and Assistant Director of Payment Services, where they provided leadership and oversight in payment services operations. Additionally, they held the role of Payment Services Officer, where they operated as a product subject matter expert and proposed cost-saving process improvements.
Leah started their career at The Scottsdale Plaza Resort as the Group Reservations Supervisor from 1999 to 2001.

Leah Friedenberg holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from LSU Shreveport, which they obtained between 2022 and 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University in 2021. In 2019, Leah attended Western CUNA Management School at Pomona College, where they focused on Credit Union Operations Management but did not obtain a specific degree. Additionally, they achieved the certification of Lean Transformation Practitioner from Transformance Advisors Inc. in May 2022. Furthermore, Leah is a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) certified by the National Credit Union Foundation since 2016.
