Avi Tillu

Avi Tillu is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and consulting. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at PIMCO since January 2020, Avi previously held the role of Senior Vice President. Prior experience includes positions as Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., and Senior Consultant in the Financial Institutions and Private Equity Practice Areas at Boston Consulting Group, where significant projects involved revenue growth strategies and strategic transformations for major financial institutions. Earlier career roles include Junior Portfolio Manager at Citadel LLC, Analyst in Credit Portfolio Trading at Goldman Sachs, and Summer Analyst in Global Markets at Deutsche Bank. Education includes a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, complemented by foundational studies at Bedford Modern School and King Edward's School.
