Matthew Schwarz

Matthew Schwarz, CFA, currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of US GWM Business Strategy & Analytics at PIMCO, a position held since January 2025. Prior experience at PIMCO includes roles as Senior Vice President of Business Strategy for Alternative Credit & Private Markets, Vice President in the Executive Office, and Account Manager for the US Financial Institutions Group from September 2014 to May 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a Fulbright Scholar at the U.S. Department of State from May 2009 to June 2010. Matthew Schwarz holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (2012-2014), a Master of Arts in International Finance and International Political Economy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Florida (2005-2009).
