Nicolas Valls

Nicolas Valls is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Vice President at PIMCO since July 2024. Prior to this role, Nicolas held the position of Managing Director at Golub Capital from April 2016 to July 2024, where expertise in delivering financing solutions to private equity-backed companies was demonstrated. Nicolas also served as Principal at BDCA Adviser, LLC from June 2014 to March 2016, focusing on investments in middle market companies. Earlier career experience includes a Vice President role at Arrowhead Mezzanine and an Associate Director position in the Corporate Finance Group at The PrinceRidge Group. Nicolas's foundational experience includes time as an Associate in both the Global Restructuring and Leveraged Finance Groups at The Royal Bank of Scotland. Educational qualifications include a BSE in Systems Science Engineering and a BSE in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, respectively.
