Sean S. Zhang

Sean S. Zhang, CFA, serves as Vice President of Credit Research at PIMCO since September 2023, previously holding the position of Credit Research Analyst. Zhang completed an MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management while working as a Teaching Assistant for a multi-stakeholder negotiation course. Prior experience includes an MBA internship at PIMCO, a Vice President role at Evercore covering sustainable tech and clean energy, and multiple positions at PIMCO specializing in alternatives and research. Zhang began a career as an Investment Intern at Brown University and also gained experience as a Summer Analyst at UBS in the Equity Capital Markets Group. The educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from MIT and a ScB in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University.
