Colin then worked as a Strategy Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, specializing in media, entertainment, and technology. Colin joined Ustream, Inc in 2009 as the VP of Monetization, overseeing global advertising sales, operations, and emerging business lines. In 2012, they co-founded EverSport Media, where they helped establish the business and secure seed funding before it was acquired by Pluto.tv in 2017. Colin served as the GM of Justin.tv and also worked at Twitch, where they held the role of Chief Strategy Officer and led the incubation of new projects. Additionally, they ran Corporate Development at Twitch, overseeing M&A activities and integrating acquired companies. Colin has also been involved in angel investing and advising companies. Colin has made over 50 investments and has notable exits, including being a seed investor in Cruise Automotive, which was acquired by GM.
Colin Carrier attended Benet Academy from 1998 to 2002, where they completed their high school education. Colin then enrolled at the University of Chicago from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Letters, and Society.
