Byron O'Connor currently serves as Vice President of Mining at Pinchin Ltd. since June 2018, with additional roles as National Mining Lead and Director of Northeastern Ontario. Prior to this, Byron held the position of Director of Engineering and Water & Wastewater Systems at BluMetric Environmental Inc. from November 2012 to June 2018, where responsibilities included leading the engineering team and contributing to the company's strategic plan as a member of the executive team. Earlier in Byron's career, significant experience was gained at WESA Inc. as a Senior Engineer, and at Jacques Whitford as a Geologist, involved in revenue growth, project management, and environmental oversight. Educational background includes a degree from the University of New Brunswick, completed between 1979 and 1986.
