Krishna Regmi

Krishna Regmi, PhD, is a seasoned research scientist currently employed at Pindrop as a Research Scientist II since September 2024. Previously, Krishna held the position of Senior Research and Development Engineer at Kitware Inc. from 2021 to 2024 and worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida from 2016 to 2021. Notably, Krishna completed a research scientist internship at Netflix in 2019 and served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2013 to 2015. Earlier, Krishna was a Lecturer at Kantipur Engineering College, Tribhuvan University, where responsibilities included preparing undergraduate lectures and supervising student projects. Krishna earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Expertise includes the development of image processing algorithms and proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, C, C++, and C#.
