Brett White

Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Pine Gate Renewables

Brett White has more than 15 years of work experience in various legal and regulatory roles. Brett is currently working at Pine Gate Renewables as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Pine Gate Renewables from October 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Pine Gate Renewables, Brett worked at the Edison Electric Institute as the Director of Federal Regulatory Affairs from September 2020 to September 2020. Brett also held the position of Senior Manager of Federal Regulatory Affairs at the same company from October 2019 to September 2020. Brett started their legal career as an Associate at Wright & Talisman, P.C. in October 2014 and worked there until October 2019. Brett gained valuable experience as an Attorney-Advisor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from September 2012 to October 2014. Prior to that, they served as a law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and as a legal intern at both the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Attorney General for the State of North Carolina. Brett's early career also includes a teaching role in AmeriCorps.

Brett White pursued a B.A. in Political Science from Appalachian State University from 2003 to 2006. Brett then went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate in Energy and Environmental Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School between 2007 and 2010.
