James Ortega

James Ortega has a diverse work experience in the legal field. James served as the EVP - Legal and General Counsel for Pine Gate Renewables, overseeing a wide range of legal matters related to solar development and finance. Prior to this, they worked as the Assistant General Counsel for Strata Solar, LLC, where they played a key role in negotiating financing transactions and providing legal support to various departments. James also worked as an Associate Attorney at Arent Fox, specializing in real estate and finance law, and held similar positions at Roetzel & Andress and Snyder Kearney, LLC. Overall, James Ortega has extensive experience in handling legal matters in the renewable energy and real estate sectors.

James Ortega received their J.D. degree in Law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in the years 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from St. Mary's College of Maryland between 1996 and 2000.
