Kris Underwood

Kris Underwood is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Asset Operations at Pine Gate Renewables since March 2019, where involvement includes QA/QC and commissioning of a 100MW solar farm in South Carolina. With over eight years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M), Kris has also worked at Sustainable Power as an O&M Tech 2 and at FLS Energy as a Solar QC and O&M Technician, maintaining utility-scale solar sites. Prior to entering the renewable energy field, Kris gained technical expertise in elevator mechanics and nuclear technology, alongside obtaining certifications in HVAC and graphic design from Cape Fear Community College and UCLA, respectively.
