Shariq Syed

Shariq Syed has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Shariq started their career as a Business Development Associate at MindCraft Software Pvt. Ltd. in 2008, where they gained a clear understanding of customer requirements and provided them with software solutions. Shariq then joined Smart Money Capital Analysis Pvt. Ltd. as a Digital Marketing Specialist in 2009, where they planned and designed business development strategies and recruited partners for company growth.

In 2010, Shariq joined Tata Play Ltd., where they held multiple roles over the course of eight years. As a Senior Manager Analytics, they consulted with various business units to understand challenges and opportunities, analyzed customer lifecycle, and performed micro-segmentation of the customer base. Shariq later became a Senior Manager Business Intelligence and Automation, responsible for delivering enterprise-level business intelligence solutions using SAP BO and Tableau, as well as improving the design and development of enterprise application architecture. Finally, as the AGM - Business Assurance, they integrated internal resources and vendors to execute seamless projects.

Most recently, Shariq Syed joined Pine Labs as the Associate Vice President - Customer Service in 2022.

Shariq Syed obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai from 2003 to 2006. Shariq then pursued a Master of Management Studies degree in Marketing from the University of Mumbai from 2006 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Shariq obtained a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification from Tableau Software in 2020, a TBEM Assessor certification from Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG) in 2020, and a 6-Sigma Green Belt Certification from KPMG India in 2018. Shariq also holds a Tableau Analyst certification.
