Senior Director Of Behavioral Health at Pine Street Inn

Rita Chapdelaine, LICSW has over a decade of diverse work experience in the field of social work and behavioral health. Rita is currently a Part-time Faculty at Boston University's Graduate School of Social Work. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Behavioral Health at Pine Street Inn. Rita has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at UMass Boston, teaching courses on substance use and abuse. Rita has held various leadership positions, including Director of Outpatient Psychiatric Services at Mount Auburn Hospital and Director of Veteran 360 Behavioral Health Programs at the New England Center and Home for Veterans. Earlier in their career, Rita worked as a Program Coordinator/Therapist at North Suffolk Mental Health and as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center. Rita started their career as a Research Assistant at Stanley Street Treatment and Resources and as a Case Manager at Bristol Elder Services.

Rita Chapdelaine, LICSW, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work at Boston University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2011.
