Pine Street Inn
Marla Strickland has extensive work experience in the field of advancement operations and development. Marla currently holds the position of Vice President, Advancement Operations at Pine Street Inn. Before joining Pine Street Inn, they served as the Senior Director of Advancement Operations at the same organization. Prior to that, Marla worked as the Director of Advancement Services at The Trustees of Reservations from 2011 to 2017. Marla also held leadership positions at Peabody Essex Museum and New England Aquarium, where they were the Director of Development Operations and Director of Membership and Annual Fund, respectively. Marla's career also includes roles as a Marketing Manager at Boston Ballet, Director of Marketing at University Productions, and a Touring Director/Company Manager at Dayton Ballet.
Marla Strickland pursued their undergraduate studies from 1985 to 1989 at the University of Michigan. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics. After a break, they resumed their education in 1992 and completed their studies in 1994 at American University. Marla received a Master of Arts degree, specializing in Arts Management.
