Coleen Johnston

Coleen Johnston is an experienced veterinary professional and educator with a DVM from the University of Florida. As an adjunct professor for the Veterinary Technician Program at Eastern Florida State College since January 2017, Coleen has a strong background in teaching, having previously taught at Brevard Community College from August 2008 to December 2010. Coleen also serves as a substitute teacher for grades K-7th at Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Inc. since December 2015. As the owner and veterinarian at Healthy Pet Veterinary Services, Inc., established in January 2010, Coleen runs a mobile small animal practice focusing on preventative medicine and geriatric care. Additionally, Coleen developed the canine-human personality matching algorithm while serving as Chief Strategy Officer at PawsLikeMe, Inc. from June 2012 to September 2015, and has a history as an associate veterinarian at VCA Animal Hospitals, where responsibilities included medical direction, staff training, and client education.
