Tumisang Tshikare

Tumisang Tshikare has worked as a Data Team Lead at Pineapple since December 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at Discovery Limited from April 2019 to December 2020, and also as a Data Scientist from April 2019 to December 2020. In addition, Tumisang worked as a Business Developer at Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, LLC, focusing on research and analysis in digitalization and startup advances in Africa until March 2019.

Tumisang Tshikare completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Maths, and Electronics at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in 2015. Then, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics and Space Science at the University of Cape Town from 2015 to 2017. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences with a focus on Probabilistic Machine Learning from the University of Cape Town in 2018. Additionally, in 2018, they also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management at ESMT Berlin. Tumisang Tshikare also received certifications in Django Development and Deployment in 2020 and Spark and Python for Big Data with PySpark in 2019 from Udemy.
