Maurya Patel

Maurya Patel is a dedicated and proactive individual currently pursuing various leadership roles while studying at North Park Secondary School. As a QSYS Student Researcher at the University of Waterloo and an intern at The Business Broker, Maurya is gaining valuable experience in research and business operations. As the Founder and CEO of TechAware, a student-led non-profit organization, Maurya leads a team of eight to promote educational resources for high school students, manages an active social media presence, and fosters partnerships with other organizations. Furthermore, Maurya holds key positions including National Associate of Operation for the Junior Economic Club of Toronto, Head of Logistics for JAMHacks, and various roles within DECA Inc., which focus on enhancing business knowledge among peers. Other leadership positions include serving as President of the NPSS Relay For Life and NPSS Robotics, along with leading the Human Resources Department at Youth Helping Youth. Maurya's commitment to education and community engagement is evident through extensive involvement in extracurricular activities and the development of educational content for peers.
