Priyasha Sharma

Priyasha Sharma is a dedicated and accomplished individual with extensive experience in research, leadership, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Climigration Network under Prof. Hannah Teicher, Priyasha focuses on the private sector's influence on climate relocation, representing the youngest advisor in this capacity. As the Founder and Director of Slithery & Slimy, Priyasha has successfully mobilized peers from over 35 countries against speciesism through global campaigns. Leadership roles include serving as Head Girl at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, where Priyasha launched a significant anti-bullying initiative, and as a researcher for YOUNGO, contributing to the Global Ocean Youth Declaration for COP 28. Additional roles include being the Newsletter Editor for ClimateScience, Treasurer for Interact: Rotary Sponsored Club, and Deputy Secretary General for SHSMUN. Priyasha is pursuing a degree in Data Science & AI with a minor in Environment & Sustainability at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
