Edo Liberty

Edo Liberty is the Founder and CEO of Pinecone, leading the development of a world-class vector database since June 2019. Recently, Liberty served as a Visiting Lecturer at Princeton University, teaching a course on Long Term Memory in AI focused on Vector Search and Databases. Prior roles include Director of Research and Head of Amazon AI Labs at Amazon Web Services, where management of scalable machine learning systems occurred, and Senior Research Director at Yahoo, overseeing independent research in scalable machine learning and data mining. Liberty's earlier experience includes research positions at Yale University, Tel Aviv University, and internships at Google, all contributing to expertise in algorithms and data mining. Edo Liberty holds a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University and a B.Sc in Physics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
