Mark Baatenburg de Jong

Mark Baatenburg de Jong is a security engineer at Pinewood since March 2019, previously working as a security analyst at Ocean Network Express and a senior system administrator at MOL (Europe) B.V. for several years. With extensive experience in network security and system administration, Mark has implemented solutions including site-to-site VPNs, centralized WIFI with RADIUS authentication, and Palo Alto next-gen firewalls. Additional expertise includes datacenter migration, security hardening, and incident response across various platforms and technologies. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Hogeschool Leiden and an MBO in Information-Communication Technology from ROC Leiden.
