Suman Sharma

Suman Sharma is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of PAM Engineering at Ping Identity since April 2025, following the acquisition of Procyon, where Suman co-founded and held the position of CTO. Suman is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council as of July 2023. Previous experiences include serving as Principal Engineer at Cisco, responsible for security in Data Center Networking, and as Principal Security Architect at RUCKUS Networks. Suman's career began at Intel Corporation as a System Architect, providing technical leadership and compliance with various standards. Suman has actively contributed to industry standards through leadership roles in organizations such as the Multimedia over Coax Alliance and IEEE. Education includes a B-Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and additional coursework at Stanford University.
