Karen Allen

Karen Allen is an experienced Solutions Architect currently working at Sword Ping Network Solutions since November 2023. Allen previously held a Solutions Architect role at Capita from July 2009 to August 2023, where responsibilities included designing network and security solutions and serving as a Cisco specialist in the presales team. Additional experience includes positions as Solutions Architect at Updata Infrastructure and Network Presales Consultant at Carillion IT Services, as well as early roles such as Graduate Design Engineer at THUS Plc and Graduate Engineer at Cable & Wireless. Allen began their career in research at Philips Research during a student placement. Allen holds an Meng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2006.
