Valliappan Kumarappan

Valliappan Kumarappan is the Co-Founder & CEO at PinkBlue, a position they have held since January 2015. Prior to that, they were a Principal at MXV Consulting from June 2009 to January 2015, where they led teams on several high-impact projects, including business planning and profitability improvement for a leading industrial products manufacturer in India, and a study of the mobile internet and commerce industry in India. Valliappan also worked on a retail footprint expansion strategy and country growth strategy for a Fortune 500 US fashion retailer in a Latin American country. Before that, they were a Summer Intern at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from April 2008 to June 2008, working on a B2B marketing project aimed at increasing the market share of the company in the anti-ulcerants category in India and South-East Asia. Valliappan also worked as a Software Engineer at Thomson Financials India from September 2005 to June 2007, and at Infosys from July 2004 to September 2005.

Valliappan Kumarappan has a post-graduate diploma in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a B.E. in electronics and communication from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai.
