Cindy Akers

Cindy Akers has extensive experience in media and advertising. Cindy began their career in 1986 as a Senior Media Buyer at BBD&O Chicago, where they were responsible for purchasing TV, radio, and cable for various clients. Cindy later worked at Ketchum Communications as a Media Supervisor, where they purchased and supervised media schedules for Acura Motors of America. At Tucker Knapp, Inc, they served as a Media Supervisor, overseeing media campaigns. Cindy also worked as an Associate Media Director at Bates USA and as a Freelance Buyer/Planner at Media That Works/Marketing Alternatives, Inc. Most recently, they held the role of Media Director at Pinnacle Advertising. Throughout their career, Cindy has worked with a variety of clients, including Wrigley Gum, Dodge, Abbott Laboratories, and Stanley Steamer.

Cindy Akers attended Western Illinois University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
