Sarah Nelson began their work experience in 2009 as an intern at Horseshoe Bay Resort, where they gained experience in various roles within the restaurant. Sarah then worked as a Community Assistant at American Campus Communities from 2007 to 2010. Sarah joined American Campus Communities again in 2011 and held multiple roles, including Leasing Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager until 2015. After that, they worked at Balfour Beatty Communities as a Community Manager from 2015 to 2018, managing the operations and lease up of student housing properties. Currently, they are the Property Operations Manager at B.HOM Student Living, where they oversee the operations of a portfolio of student housing properties.
From 2006 to 2010, Sarah Nelson attended Texas Tech University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management.
