Carlos M Duncker, MD, PhD

Carlos M Duncker, MD, PhD has a diverse work experience in the medical and research field. Carlos is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Pinnacle Clinical Research, a company specializing in clinical trials in Hepatology and Gastroenterology. Previously, they served as the Director of Medical Affairs at Perspectum Ltd for five years. Additionally, they worked as a Medical Science Liaison at Do the Right Thing for three years. Prior to that, they were the Hepatology Research Manager at Texas Digestive Disease Consultants - Research and Education for six years. Earlier in their career, they held positions at the National Institutes of Health Research System in Mexico as a Senior Researcher, at Children's Hospital of Mexico as the Head of Molecular Nuclear Medicine, and at the Autonomous National University of Mexico as a Professor. Carlos also served as the President of the Biosafety Committee at Children's Hospital of Mexico and worked as the Head of Nuclear Medicine at the National Institute of Cardiology. Carlos M Duncker has made significant contributions to the field of medical research throughout their career.

Carlos M Duncker, MD, PhD began their education at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, where they earned their MD in Medicine in the years 1981-1987. Carlos then pursued further education at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, where they completed a PhD (Cum Laude) in Medicine and Surgery between 1987-1990. Additionally, they obtained a PhD (Cum Laude) from the same institution. Following this, they attended The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a Post-Doc in Radiological Sciences - Nuclear Medicine from 1990-1991.

In terms of additional certifications, Carlos holds certifications in Internal Medicine, Molecular Medicine, and as a Certified Radioactive Installation Operator and Supervisor, obtained from various institutions such as Mexico and the UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Carlos also received a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery Cum Laude (PhD) from UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1990.
