Shawn Handy

Shawn graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. During his time at Pittsburg, Shawn spent his summers interning for various companies where he gained valuable estimating and construction management experience. He spent seven years working with Walton Construction as a Sr. Project Manager working on remodeling projects for a repeat client AMC, and overseeing the construction of several mixed-use retail developments, office buildings, and retail strip centers.

Since joining the Pinnacle Construction Group team in June of 2007 Shawn has lead the way in expanding the company and the services we offer. He brings his unique perspective, experience and pride in a job well done to every project he works on, which results in a high quality finished product for his client. His hard work and attention to detail has earned him the respect and trust of the Owners, Tenants and Contractors that he has worked with throughout his career.

Shawn has extensive experience handling all aspects of construction management which include: pre-construction services, design development, design assist, LEED, and project closeout. He has consistently shown his ability to manage an array of projects including multi-site and single site development, shell building construction, building expansion, commercial development, build-to-suit, and tenant finish work. The ability to manage this depth of product stems from both the hard work that he is willing to put into a project and the knowledge that he has acquired working in the construction field.

Currently, Shawn is managing the construction and field operations of several tenant finishes as well as working on preconstruction of various other projects.
