Melanie Palmer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melanie began their career in 1995 as a Research Chemist Intern at Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). Melanie then worked as an Analytical Chemist at the City of Camarillo for a year. In 1998, they transitioned to the field of genetics and IVF, serving as an Embryologist at Genetics and IVF until 2004. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Air Force Civilian Service before taking on the role of a Microbiologist at Arid Zone Research Institute Northern Territory in the same year. In 2009, they became a Career Resource Manager at Air Force Civilian Service until 2010. Following this, they joined Fairfax Egg Bank as a Client Development Manager and Donor Coordinator in 2014, where they worked until July 2020.
