Victor Valks

Victor Valks has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Victor started their career as a Senior Information Management Specialist at ACS Government Solutions in 1997 and then worked as a Web Applications Developer at eBags in 2000. Victor joined CQG, Inc. in 2001 and held several roles including Marketing Communications Specialist, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, and Web Applications Developer.

In 2007, Victor worked at Media Breakaway, LLC as a Quality Assurance Engineer and later as a Web Traffic Analyst. Victor then joined AllStaff Technical Solutions in 2008 as a Web Applications Developer, where they developed a website to evaluate and report on the execution of healthcare contracts for the TRICARE Management Activity.

Victor worked at Lockheed Martin from 2009 to 2011 as a Business Process Analyst, where they implemented an Oracle dashboard to report on operations and managed software changes. Victor also served as a technical liaison and team lead.

From 2012 to 2014, Victor worked at Cigna in two roles: Systems Analysis Sr Specialist and QA and Testing Sr Specialist. Victor then joined Pinnacol Assurance in 2014 as a Business Analyst. Victor participated in various projects involving Salesforce, and in 2017, they conducted business analysis and coordinated user-acceptance testing for a project integrating data from Salesforce to a legacy Oracle Forms system.

Apart from their professional work, Victor has also been involved in volunteer roles. Victor served as the Webmaster for Aurora Masters Swim Team from 2006 to 2017. Victor also served as Director-at-Large and Vice President for Pelican Pointe Homeowners Association from 2012 to 2015, where they provided oversight and maintained the HOA's website.

Victor Valks has a diverse education history. Victor completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Denver from 1993 to 1996, majoring in Journalism Studies and minoring in Political Science. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Victor completed Advanced Placement coursework at Regis Jesuit High School from 1989 to 1993.

In terms of postgraduate education, Victor obtained a Graduate Business Certificate in Marketing from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2006 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Regis University from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal degrees, Victor has obtained several certifications. These include being a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) from Salesforce in May 2019, Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in May and April 2015 respectively, and completing the "Mastering the Requirements Process" training from Systemation in December 2013. Victor also holds various other certifications in subjects such as Oracle Database, contracting, defense acquisition, HIPAA training, and software engineering.
