Alexa Akselband has a diverse work experience history. Alexa worked at the Archdiocese of NY Drug Abuse Prevention Program (ADAPP) from 2017 to present, starting as an Intervention Counselor and later becoming a Clinical Supervisor. Prior to that, they were a Painting Instructor/ Studio Manager at Pinot's Palette. Alexa also worked as a Mental Health Counselor at Bridge Back to Life Center, Inc from September 2016 to August 2017, as well as a Rehabilitation Practitioner at Behavioral Health Services North (BHSN) from January 2016 to August 2016. Earlier in their career, Alexa worked at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh in various roles such as Resident Hall Director, Resident Assistant, and Community Advocate from 2011 to 2016.
Alexa Akselband obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the same institution, from 2014 to 2016.
