Alexa James

Alexa James has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2005, they worked as a Manager and Buyer at Distinctive Toys, where they were responsible for ordering merchandise, maintaining the store, and providing exceptional customer service.

From 2012 to 2013, Alexa worked as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc./Old Navy.

Alexa then pursued a career as a Freelance Cartoonist, creating comics and illustrations for DealNews from 2013 to 2015.

In 2017, Alexa worked as a Research Writer at Frederator Networks, Inc., where they created research-based articles on video games and television shows.

From 2013 to 2019, Alexa worked as the Head Cartoonist & Illustrator at One Raw Bite, creating illustrations and comics for articles.

In 2019, Alexa started working as a Painting Instructor at Pinot's Palette, where they taught painting classes and provided guidance to participants.

In the same year, they also began working at One River School of Art + Design as an Art Instructor, Education Coordinator, and eventually became the Director of Education. Alexa'sresponsibilities included teaching art classes, educating students on different artists and mediums, and providing project assistance.

Additionally, Alexa has been self-employed since 2012, working as a Cartoonist and Illustrator with various artists and companies, utilizing both traditional and digital media.

Alexa James obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cartooning and Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2019, they also received certification as a Certified CrossFit Trainer (CCFT) from Crossfit Klew.
