Painting Instructor at Pratt Fine Arts Center

Willow Heath is an experienced teaching artist specializing in watercolor and various art forms for diverse age groups. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist at Gage Academy of Art since 2008, Willow also instructs youth and teens in enrichment art courses through 6crickets Inc. since 2016. Additional roles include Painting Instructor at Pratt Fine Arts Center, where adult watercolor classes are offered, and Art Instructor at Coyote Central, focusing on Pop Art techniques. Willow has been enriching young minds in after-school art programs at Montlake Elementary and Stevens Elementary since 2013 and 2006, respectively. A prolific freelance artist from 1998 to 2023, Willow also provided online watercolor instruction at the National Nordic Museum. Education was attained at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where foundational art training was established.
