Jeff Ives

Jeff Ives, Ph.D., is a venture partner at New Leaf Venture Partners focused on the biopharmaceutical arena and serves as a director on six biotechnology companies. He is an entrepreneur and CEO with over 30 years of experience building successful research organizations and delivering important new clinical candidates and products. Jeff has extensive senior R&D leadership and scientific experience, having served as CEO of Satori Pharmaceuticals, a neurodegenerative disease company focused on the discovery and development of breakthrough therapies for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Prior to Satori, he was a senior vice president at Pfizer, leading the neurodegenerative diseases, psychiatry and pain research areas and maximizing the impact of drug metabolism on global research and development programs. Jeff received his master’s and doctoral degrees in chemistry from Yale and his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University.
