Pegleess Barrios Sánchez

Pegleess Barrios Sánchez is an accomplished program manager with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), talent management, and community building within the tech industry. At Pinterest, Pegleess managed the Employee Resource Group Program across five continents and designed career development programs for employees. As a founding team member of Latinas in Tech Canada, Pegleess successfully grew the community to nearly 300 members. Prior experience at Shopify involved leading talent management initiatives, founding the Latinx Employee Resource Group, and facilitating workshops for professional development. Earlier roles included senior technical recruitment at S.i. Systems and program management at the University of Guelph, where Pegleess also contributed to significant research projects. Pegleess holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph.
