Gilberto Rangel

Gilberto Rangel has diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Gilberto currently holds the position of CIO - Director of Technology and Digitalization at Grupo Berel since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Qualtia as the Department Head of IT from June 2022 to January 2023. From 2006 to 2022, they held multiple positions at GRUPO CUPRUM, including Gerente de Sistemas for the USA, Canada, and Mexico, Líder de Sistemas, Coordinador de Sistemas Global and Regional, and Especialista en Procesos, Tecnología e Infraestructura. Gilberto also worked at Corporativo Grupo IMSA as an Ingeniero de Proyectos from August 2005 to March 2006, and at IBM as part of the EMEA On Demand Business Team from June 2004 to January 2005.

Gilberto Rangel's education history includes several educational experiences. Gilberto completed the Programa de Alta Dirección, D1 at IPADE Business School from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Information Technology from the University of Stuttgart in 2005. Additionally, Gilberto pursued their preparatory education at Tecnológico de Monterrey, specifically Eugenio Garza Lagüera.

In terms of additional certifications, Gilberto obtained the CPIM - Production and Inventory Management certification from APICS in January 2018. In March 2017, they completed the Inspira - Storytelling certification from Astrolab. Lastly, Gilberto obtained their Six Sigma Green Belt certification in August 2010 from Six Sigma.
