Benjamin Bartakovics

Benjamin Bartakovics is a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. Prior to joining Pioneer Fund, they were an advisor at Y Combinator's Startup School, where they provided support and advice to participating companies. Benjamin has also co-founded Gustav, a staffing company focused on placing students in short term jobs.

Bartakovics began their career as an intern at Deloitte in the Corporate Finance - M&A / Restructuring department. There, they assisted in the preparation of customer presentations and graphical representation of business analysis in report format. Benjamin also translated an Information Memorandum into English and independently executed and prepared research activities and investor long lists. In addition, they processed financial business data in Microsoft Excel, conducted quality checks of Microsoft Excel based financial forecast models, and provided various support activities for a major M&A project.

Benjamin Bartakovics attended Y Combinator, a business incubator, where they studied business. Benjamin then went on to study finance at Cass Business School and HKUST Business School. Finally, they completed their Austrian Matura in Industrial Engineering with a specialisation in Business Computer Science at the Technologisches Gewerbemuseum.
