Tim Jones

Tim Jones is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. Currently serving as an LP and Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund since February 2025, Tim supports top-performing Y Combinator companies and has contributed to investments in notable firms like Brex and Vanta. Prior to this role, Tim was the SVP of Product at Trilogy, leading product strategy for numerous B2B SaaS offerings and overseeing product due diligence with a focus on AI-driven automation. As the Cofounder and CEO of Hailey, Tim developed a platform to enhance remote team engagement. Additional experience includes senior product management roles at Apartment List, leading the renter experience across various channels, and founding Cribspot, a technology platform for rental management. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Michigan and a formative experience with Y Combinator.
