Danielle Owen Whitford has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Danielle is the founder and CEO of Pioneera since 2018. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Execs with Soul from 2017 to 2019, where they focused on helping successful individuals who felt burnt out find their passion and purpose.
Danielle also worked at IAG for a significant portion of their career, taking on various roles. Danielle served as the Executive General Manager, Transformation from 2014 to 2016, leading the creation of Enterprise Operations and delivering a significant optimization program. Before that, they were the General Manager Operational Strategy & Planning from 2012 to 2014, where they designed and implemented a multichannel technology solution to enhance customer experience. Danielle also served as the NSW State Sales Manager/Channel Manager, NRMA Branch network from 2010 to 2012, successfully turning around an underperforming network.
During their time at IAG, they held the position of National Manager, High Performance Unit from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager/Manager of Customer Experience and Manager of Internal Communications from 2000 to 2006. Danielle started their career at Aussie Home Loans as the Manager of Public Affairs in 2000 and at HIH CASUALTY AND GENERAL INSURANCE LIMITED as the Manager of Communications in 1999. Before that, they worked at Optus as a Corporate Communications Executive from 1996 to 1999.
Danielle Owen Whitford (She/Her) has a diverse education history. In 1991-1993, they attended the University of Wollongong, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Psychology and Sociology. Following that, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Masters of Communications degree at the University of Technology Sydney, specializing in Communication and Media Studies.
In 2001-2003, Danielle enrolled in the AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Change Management. During the same period, they also studied at The University of Sydney Business School, earning a Graduate Diploma of Management with a concentration in Corporate Finance.
Danielle's education continued in 2003, when they pursued a second Graduate Diploma of Management, this time in Marketing, at The University of Sydney Business School.
Lastly, in 2015, Danielle attended the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) for an additional program called "Pioneering Minds - Appreciative Inquiry," although their field of study is not specified for this particular degree.
