Julian König

Julian Knoll, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Data Experience at BNP Paribas Personal Investors, specializing in AI, Data Science, and Market Research since October 2018. Previously, Julian held positions as a Lead Data Scientist focused on Business Analytics & Information and was a University Lecturer at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, teaching e-Business, Big Data, and Data Science. Experience as a Post-Doc Researcher and Research Scientist was gained at Nuremberg Institute of Technology in the Computer Science Department. Earlier in their career, Julian worked at Schaeffler as a Project Manager and Internal Auditor following a diverse trainee role. Julian's educational background includes a PhD in Statistics and Econometrics with a focus on Machine Learning from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim.
