Monte Montgomery

Monte Montgomery is the SVP & CFO at Pionyr Immunotherapeutics. Monte has over 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry.

Montgomery started their career at Ernst & Young as a Supervising Senior Auditor. Monte then moved to InterMune, Inc. as their SEC Compliance Manager. In 2004, they joined Exelixis, Inc. as their Director of SEC Reporting. Monte was with Exelixis for four years before moving to KAI Pharmaceuticals as their Executive Director of Finance.

Most recently, Montgomery was with Relypsa as their Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Monte was with Relypsa for four years before joining Pionyr Immunotherapeutics in 2017.

Monte Montgomery completed a Bachelor of Art in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.

They work with Alicia Levey - COO, Kevin P. Baker - SVP & Chief Development Officer, and Leonard Reyno - EVP & Chief Medical Officer. Monte Montgomery reports to Steven P. James, President & CEO.
