Pablo Vergara Riquelme has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Pablo started their career as an intern at LATAM Airlines in 2014 and later joined the company as an Innovation Analyst in 2015. In this role, they were responsible for cross-company projects related to network analysis, market estimations, and passenger preference models. Pablo also served as a key user for Sabre Profit Manager, a suite that facilitated preference analysis and route optimization.
In 2017, Pablo transitioned to Uber and took on the role of Operations and Logistics Manager - Analytics. Pablo worked in this position until 2019, during which they were also given the responsibility of a Data Scientist on the Elevate team. From 2020 to 2022, Pablo served as a Data Scientist - Rides at Uber, contributing their expertise to data analysis and scientific modeling for the rides division.
Most recently, in 2022, Pablo joined Pipe as a Data Scientist, where they continue to apply their skills in data analysis and machine learning. Throughout their career, Pablo has also been involved in academic roles as a teaching assistant in Corporate Finance and Microeconomics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Pablo Vergara Riquelme attended the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 2010 to 2014. Pablo obtained a degree in Business Administration and Economics, with a field of study in Administration - Finance. In 2013, Pablo participated in the Hechange Program at HEC Montréal during the fall semester. Outside of their formal education, they obtained additional certifications. In 2016, they completed the "Mastering Data Visualization Using Tableau: From Basic to Advanced" program offered by Experfy. In 2014, Pablo obtained the DELF - B1 certification from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP). Additionally, in 2012, they completed the TOEFL examination offered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
