Margot King

Margot King is a partner at Piper Alderman. Prior to that, they were project legal counsel at Parramatta Square from January 2018 to January 2020. From July 2015 to August 2015, they were legal counsel at Lendlease, advising on building contracts and remediation obligations for the Barangaroo South urban regeneration project. From January 2016 to January 2018, they were of counsel at Jones Day, advising Lendlease on project documents for the Barangaroo South urban regeneration project and advising clients on property and infrastructure projects. From January 2014 to January 2016, they were an associate at Jones Day. From September 2011 to May 2013, they were a senior associate at Ashurst, advising on private equity M&A transactions; advising pension funds on property transactions; advising developers and listed home builders on projects, co-investments and corporate transactions. From June 2008 to July 2009, they were an associate at Slaughter and May, seconded from Allens Arthur Robinson.

Margot King has a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Murdoch University, a Master's degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, and a law degree from The University of Western Australia.

Margot King reports to Tony Britten-Jones, Managing Partner. They are on a team with Ian Nathaniel - Partner, Tim Lange - Partner, and Robert Riddell - Partner.
